The envelope containing the postal order for the payment of pensions and social benefits will undergo a change.
The Social Security Institute announced on Thursday that, starting in January 2025, the envelope used to send postal orders will have the format of a standardized envelope.
According to the explanation shared by the Social Security on the social network Facebook, "in this envelope a letter will be sent, from which the postal order for payment of the pension or social benefit should be removed".
Despite this change, the process of collecting the postal order remains unchanged. It can still be collected at any CTT shop/CTT point or deposited into a bank account, as usual.
